The kids are settling into school routines, the air is getting cooler, and pumpkin spice is back…which can only mean one thing: Holiday Mini Session season!

Holiday Minis are a fun and festive way to get into the spirit of the season while sharing your beautiful family with the people you love most.

Here are all the details you’ll want to know:

What are Mini Sessions?

Mini sessions are short and sweet— sessions take just 10 to 15 minutes. They’re perfect if you’re looking for a fresh family photo for your holiday card, or updated portraits of the kids to gift to grandparents, godparents, and loved ones!

Minis are a lower investment than a full Family Session, and you can choose add-ons that fit your family best. Some of the add-ons that you can choose include downloadable digital images, albums, and holiday cards— just to name a few.

Because they’re scheduled on a set date and at a set location, minis are limited in number and always popular. Spots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and a non-refundable deposit of $125 secures your place.

This Year’s Outdoor Mini Sessions

I’m excited to share that 2025’s outdoor mini sessions will take place on November 15, 2025 at Shortsville Reindeer Farm.

This will be such a unique experience where your family will be able to interact and take photos alongside the farm’s reindeer! I visited the farm a few years ago with my daughters, and we had the most magical time. I can’t wait to be back there with some of you!

This Year’s Indoor Mini Sessions

Prefer to stay warm and cozy in mid-November? No problem! Indoor minis will be held on November 16, 2025 at Studio at the Wilder in downtown Rochester, NY.

The studio will feature two festive holiday sets designed for cozy, cheerful portraits.
