The days of lounging on the couch feeling baby kick become newborn stretches. Newborn stretches become little hands reaching for yours. Before long, there are muddy boots by the front door and a child waving goodbye as they head into school.
Time passes without our permission and the days where nothing felt extraordinary all of a sudden feel different when you realize you’ve exited one chapter and started another.
Photographs can't slow time down. But they can bring you back. They're reminders of a season you'll never live exactly the same way again.
