Hi, I’m Jess— a maternity, newborn, and family lifestyle photographer based in Rochester, New York, serving families in the surrounding areas. In 2020, I turned my lifelong love of photography into Jess Palmer Photography, and it’s been the most rewarding journey ever since.

As a mom of two young girls, I know how fast life moves—and how hard it can be to pause for photos. But I also know how deeply I want to remember it all: the quirky phases, the little details, and the in-between moments that make up our family’s story.

That’s why my sessions are centered around honest, emotive storytelling. I focus on capturing your family just as you are right now—whether that’s sleepy newborn snuggles, belly laughs in the backyard, or tiny arms wrapped tight around your neck. I look for the quiet moments, the real connections, and the magic that unfolds when you simply are.
